The Khepri

{{The Caste of Khepri was less known then other Castes as their numbers remained small and their home remained a mystery. One would need a Supernatural Lore of 5 to know of this family or have had direct contact with them at one point in their history to know anything about them.}}

The Omorose Yaminah were not of the Kindred line of the Khepri. They were of the mortals and fae-bloods. These individuals were far from mortal though, with the minimum amount of fae blood running in their veins being half of their genetic make up. Abu's youngest sister and Tau Sefu's older half-sister, Laksha, being the last female of her breed, the Seraphiean, Royal Fire Fae, was well protected from the embrace, during her first lifetime. Laksha was very quiet in her demeanor and as choosey as The Flawless One. None seemed perfect enough for this Desert Rose. Within her boiled a spirit that she would not release to keep her safe. She only procreated to keep the Khepri line going.

The Past

Laksha was the last daughter of her Seraphiean father and mother, and only one of two that survived. She was never embraced, in an attempt to keep the bloodline alive. She listened to her Vampiric watchers and brother within the Khepri, and it was not until the Baali during the First War were able to pentrate the caste grounds that she had ever truly seen one with her eyes and not her mind.

She was stolen along with other children of the Khepri. It was then her nightmares began. They had found a way to harness the ability to father children as kindred through the incorporation of Cappadocians into their Infernalist cliche. It is unknown the number of children she gave birth to while in her living captivity, though it is known by none of the captive children that none of them made it past the first year of life. The Infernalist blood mixed with her own did not bode well within the children and the Baali were unsuccessful in combatting what seemed to be a virus that killed them. And Laksha was far from willing to tell the secret of her cursing her own children to death so if any of the family of the Khepri did survive they were not battling UnSeelie Sidhe.

After the Baali had found that she was truly unuseful to them, they cut her apart piece by piece while defiling her body with demonic vessels. They kept her alive until they ran a ritualistic dagger through her heart and the demonic vessel rendered her ash with his seed and flame. Her soul was finally released and would find her home within a family in the future that would bring her blood back to that of her brother's.

Gehenna, 2004

1302 years in the past the soul was summoned to a conception along with the soul of her brother. She was raised within the family's home for 12 years then sold to a relative of one who would be born later... Vladimir Dragul Tepes. Again, the lineage was hidden. Something the soul knew much about. At the age of 20, she asked for the Embrace, unknowing she would have lived much longer than any normal human. It was a year later she was Embraced into clan Toreador, 3 generations from the Founder Arikel and 5 Generations from the First, Caine. She spent her unlife learning, singing and songwriting, and running from her brother, whom in this lifetime, seemed to loathe her very existance.

It was not until 2002, that her brother stopped chasing her and asked her help. She did not deny him as her drive for family would not allow her to. She sat in his safest haven for nearly 8 months waiting and watching. She watched as he changed during his Torpor. It was not only a change in strength, but a change in appearance. She grew introspective and wondered if she too would go through such a thing. After Jaycen's awakening and his claim to his new name and life, Abu Khepri, they parted ways though only in essence. He was more watchful and 'loving' to her. Something told him she was his sister in more ways than one.

It was the first day of Gehenna that rendered Seana, the name of the body that Laksha had been born in, went into Torpor itself. When she came out from it on day 9, she no longer had the curse of death for those whom used magics upon her. She seemed and was much more feral in her movements. She was searching... for what she was not sure. It was this change that she implemented change around the world for those she found interesting or "dear", dangerously.

As of the 34th day of Gehenna though, she had not completely changed. Something blocking her change that even she didn't know but would soon face... What will her fate be this time? Even the few Worldly Fae are uneasy with this awakening ... gone awry!
