As believed by few within the Assassins ranks, The two leading sorcerers, one male the other female, were not always at war with each other. They both had very strong beliefs as to how things should be done, and some might say the two were lovers at one point, the reason the male might not have dominated the female in the respect of making her adhere to his point of view. It is said that she alone was able to bring out the intelligence of the male and bring forth many of their ways. It took their leader to bring forth a union between the two, only if to work together on a special situation they would all face in the future, that would be right up their alley: The protection of mankind from certain annihilation.

Their leader was summoned to have an audience with an Oracle. It was never said if it was one or all, but the information given was bleak. An alternative was given to their leader, and he alone made the decision to follow through and do his part in locking into place the fate of humanity, according to the words the Oracle/Oracles gave him. The account of said things is to follow.

Greek Oracle: "The eldest of those of death and blood will come to blows with his lover, the demoness who taught him how to use his new abilities. This will unlock the Gates, no matter how hard the new Keeper tries to keep the closed. She will, through all her strength, might and wit only be able to regain two-thirds of the demons that have been unleashed by the current Keeper. She will be young compared to most demons, but her power is not from the Keepers as it will be believed until the end of the reign of The One true God as she will be called."

Nepalese Oracle 1: "Your people have been given the role of guarding over and reigning judgement over the Vampires you have become. It is tasked to you and yours and will remain such even after the One true God takes her leave. The beginning of these times will be marked by a series of events, but the beginning of your meddling and preparations will be marked in the months to come after this meeting."

Nepalese Oracle 2: "The Fae Royal Lineage of Fire will be hunted for their power. We cannot bid you to save them all, but three must be found and must survive. The Prince Abu, The Princess Laksha and the Prince Tau Sefu. The first two are the most pure of the bloodline and would be heir apparent to the throne of the Royal Lineage, the latter, though he would make a good king is only half-brother to the former two, but it will not be discovered as he does not reside with them, where he is. And we cannot speak to you of such things. It is your task to find him."

Greek Oracle: "It will be through these three a pair of families will be created, yet one will take the brunt of the force dealt them and not survive, yet this has been seen. Their deaths will bring about an ease in the demonic ranks to think they will be able to gain dominance after She leaves. But Prophecy has a way of returning that which was believed lost."

Nepalese Oracle 1: "One who should not have fallen has. She will use those Vampires that have pacted themselves with the demons to work her own will to bring about change in the end. But those things have not come to pass yet, and though they will be your worst enemies of the same fighting plane, we can only forewarn you of their power and their plan. It will be this female Fallen who will be wronged the most. A more dominant Fallen will create lies in her mind, create a child that should not be, steal something that does not belong to he or the other Fallens, save one, and place the child and the stolen item together."

Nepalese Oracle 2: "We digress. You are tasked through the Royal Fire Fae lineage to bring across the three we have mentioned. The Female, is not to be re-Embraced after her soul is reborn. Though for some unforeseen reason it is, we will hope the link between she and the Eldest known Fire Magus to us will create the safe haven for her to return to her glory and take rule of the House of Fire. For as any female of the Fae can do, she will be tasked to reprocreate the Royal lineage."

Vampiric Assassin Leader: "I am unsure what you are fully asking with all that you have spoken. I am a simple man and there is so much here that my mind is riddling with information and I am afraid I am unsure what it is you need me to facilitate."

The three Oracles conversed for several long hours while the leader waited. He heard none of their conversation as it was all mental, in the reaches far above the leader's ability to intrude upon. Finally the three looked to the leader and the youngest spoke. She was not known for her riddles, while the others had been.

Nepalese Oracle 2: "You are tasked to assure the saving of three of the Royal Fire Fae lineage where there can be no assurances if we were to speak them to the others of the High Fae Court. You are tasked with bringing them across to the life of death and blood, in your way, to hide them from their enemies so all elements will be there for the Final Days and the Aftermath that will come. In secrecy they will be tasked with creating the families of Sorcerers that will need to be with the "living" in the final days and there after, to be reborn if needed, to assure humanity's survival against the Fallens that would do them harm or enslave them for their own devices. You are to first and foremost assure that the Princess will be able to bring back the soon to be dead line to help in the Future as you might not be able to, which we cannot see. This task is one of protecting Prophecies. You already protect the humans from your own kind, you and yours are now tasked with protecting much, much more. Many will be lost in battle, some, a select few will return should they fall. If you fail, all that you know and will come to know will be for naught."

The Oracles began to show tiredness as they were out of their homes to meet with the Vampiric leader. The only male there spoke quietly bading the Vampiric leader to leave so they would not fall prey to those whom would harm them.

Nepalese Oracle 1: "We have spent far too long, a full day and part of a night to bring you this information and task. We must rest. We thank you for your patience and wisdom. May your task be easier than we have seen it."

With that, the four parted their ways and all began their next set of tasks in this respect. Only time would tell if the Vampiric Leader and those whom had been chosen would do as needed.



The Vampiric Assassin Leader used his connetions to have a conversation with Abu about what had been told to him. Abu was not so readily willing to change one life for another and this war that would take his family hadn't occurred yet. The Royal Fire lineage of the Fae had not been known for their patience, except with a few of their women, his younger sister was one of them. But still, there had been absolutely nothing that could come to Abu's mind that he knew of to warrant such concern. Abu, though, was a bit prideful and unrelenting when it came to thinking his family could handle their own. So that meeting was a fairly short one, and when Abu left, the answer that night had been a clear no on an agreement.

It was a few years before the Vampiric Assassin Leader had heard anything about the Royal Lineage he was supposed to be keeping tabs on. Though when he finally did have contact, it was not good. Abu had popped into his Haven beaten and bloodied with the two that had been mentioned to him, though he still had not told Tau Sefu about his link to all this... They shared the same mother, which is why Tau Sefu was also full-blooded Fae versus a half-blood had Abu's father been their link.

Laksha and Tau Sefu were present at the second meeting and the same information was given. This time Abu had no choice but to listen. They had lost their entire family upon an unforeseen war, unforeseen at least to them: posed friends had turned sides and ripped through the family court like wildfire through the Savannah. All were able to rest and rejuvenate. It would take at least a month, since they were in a Vampiric Haven that didn't lend to much in the way of "happy" feelings, but they were all still safe and uneffected by the stoic emotions that were around. Once they were healed, Abu went to the Vampiric Assassin Leader and agreed to be the one to be Embraced. In turn he would Embrace Laksha and Tau and they would set out amongst the sands of Egypt when they were fully trained.

It would take 10 years before all three of them reached their full potential, and the Vampiric Assassin LEader would show them to the sands that they would have their caste in. Fitting as it was, The Valley of the Kings and Hamunaptrah would be their home. Spread wide, deep below the sands, it was up to Abu, Tau, and Laksha to begin their missions to stay alive, repopulate with the Fae Blooded and make sure the sands of Egypt were safe from the demons.

After a few hundred years the signs that the Vampiric Assassin Leader was given began to unfold. With this Abu began the rituals for the rebirth, in case the signs were indeed correct. 32 well seasoned and blood sorcerors were within the walls, small, but precise and successful at every mission they had been given, Abu only had enough time to do the ritual on 12 of them; He, Tau and Laksha had already had the ritual done long before and had chosen the order that their children would be put through the ritual in. None that were just warriors were given the ritual, having some 64 for them, but none family. If there had been time, Abu probably would have attempted the ritual on at least a few of them... But there wasn't.

The Demon Pacted Vampires found a way within their wards, having killed off most of the Fae of the family Sanskrite that had been well embroiled into the Khepri lineage, and Abu was out attempting to safeguard the one he had found, a child, not more than a few years old, from those whom had attacked. There had been so very many and Abu didn't off the top of his head know who all had actually perished and who hadn't besides the King and Queen, and their main children...

As Abu arrived back from helping Nubi into a hiding place, with the help of a few others, and giving Nubi a new name, Azibo, leaving him with tasks that he needed to do until they would meet again, Abu came back to see over half of the entire caste slain. He noted that many of the breathing had been able to escape, but it was the piles of ash that made Abu frenzy and go into full on attack. He was not the last cut down, only being survived for a short while by Tau, Laksha being captured, tortured and slain upon Turkish soil, while Tumaini the sole survivor had gone into torpor only nights before as was commanded of him by Abu.

The Essences were now released.... To be born again... What would the "New World" bring?

Background: The members of the Khepri Caste that were reborn are from all walks of life. There was no set standard for their return.

Character Creation: These Kindred favor Attributes in the following, but not always: Physical, Mental, then Social. Knowledges and Skills are favored equally, but normally they seek knowledge in the areas of clan and area/city knowledges as well as sciences the most. Their nature is usually Judgmental and their demeanor will domineering, especially for the males..

Clan Disciplines: Blood Sorcery**

Weaknesses: They also have the Assamite weakness of Easily addicted to vitae, and are Addicted to Caliph. They also have Permanent Fangs.

Strengths: These Bloodlines all have the merits "Indomitable Soul" and "Blessed". They also have the Discipline "Blood Sorcery" since the progenitor's soul was reborn and has regained or retained the knowledge.

Organization: The Khepri are almost inpentrable and inseparable. There are a few that wish to be totally on their own, but the Leaders of the family, as you have seen listed above will not change unless there is a death, which in itself will be felt throughout the entirety of the Caste.

Bloodlines: Grehikpathu, Bastaet, Geirda, Haldise, Hu Pili, Iskinder, Kostabant Retto, Meisema, Nu'man Chigaru, Nu'man Mai, Tontettu Lai, Vixthia, Wave-yers, Omorose Yaminah.
